First Response Ontario is pleased to offer advanced level training to rescue professionals and volunteers.

 

From the industrial site first responder to the professional fire fighter, FRO has courses to suit and the first hand experience to make learning far more than just the textbook.

 

We offer certification in:

 

     First Responder (40 hours)

           Next scheduled course: July 5 - 9 2010

           Orangeville, ON     

              Additional courses scheduled by demand.

 

 

     Emergency Medical Responder (80 hours)

           Next course scheduled course: starts July 5 2010

               

          (recognized by the National Occupational Competency

           Profiles for Paramedics)

              Courses scheduled by demand.

 

 

     Emergency Medical Responder upgrade (40-60 hours)

           Upgrade for current First Responders to Emergency

           Medical Responder.

 

           Next scheduled upgrade course: July 2010

     High Angle Rope Rescue Intro     (6-8 hours)

           This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the

           fundamental safety principles of working with ropes and

           heights.

 

           Next workshop: June 2010

 

 

     High Angle Rope Rescue Awareness (16 hours)

           In this two day workshop participants will learn and apply

           basic rigging techniques, ascending and repelling.

          

           Next workshop: June 2010

          

  

    Ambulance Technical, Operation and Defensive Driving

           Paramedic Students: gain that extra edge

           before the next employment competition.
